The Integratron is a white wooden dome built by ufologist George Van Tassel in the 1950s. Van Tassel claimed the Integratron was capable of rejuvenation, anti-gravity and time travel. Due to its perfect acoustics, today it’s mostly used for meditation-style sounds baths and other events that can be booked at www.integratron.com. Integratron reservations can get filled up well in advance and going as a walk-in doesn’t guarantee admission so make sure to call/schedule before heading out there.

This is a bar, “ghost town” and music venue about 10 minutes away in PioneerTown, but a really cool destination that is worth the trek. It is a bar set in the middle of nowhere that hosts a surprisingly a-list array of musical guests. It has a down home vibe in a way that just draws you in. Come around sunset to walk the ghost town before grabbing dinner & drinks for some of the best sunset views.
*Tip: if you go in the evening, find somewhere to pull off the road to admire the stars. Since you’ll be a bit up a mountain and away from our small town, the stargazing en route is pretty great.
