Just the most beautiful look out point for the River Wye - this view is from the rock. Walking for all fitness levels and plenty of places in the village for a snack or ice cream. A hand-pulled ferry runs across the river from the pub (check out times in advance).

An outstanding local view point the famous group of trees standing on May Hill, can be seen from miles around. You can park depending on how far you want to walk - the main car park is National Trust. Locals say the best mistletoe is grown on trees in sight of May Hill!

All 5 - 20 minutes drive....
Hereford is just a 20 minute drive away and is a favourite with guests. It's only a small city but has a beautiful cathedral area, with a good selection of independent shops and eating places as well as the usual selection of High Street brands. The cinema is in the Old Market area near Waitrose.

Obviously we have a bias towards our local town but Ledbury has a great selection of independent shops and eating places - even in the summer guests own up to starting their Christmas shopping in Ledbury! Many of the shops are off small side roads from the main street so keep a look out for what's behind the main street. Hus and Hem is a popular shop and The Malthouse the most popular coffee / lunch stop.
