The Archives is a great source of information and research materials about the area. The Court House is now a museum but claims to be the oldest Court in Canada, and the judge's chambers and at the jail are most interesting!

Comeau's Hill Beach. No services but a short and scenic 20 minute drive. As the site is maintained by the local community, early in the season, the winter storm surge of sea weed may still be on the beach . The amount of sand exposed depends on the tide, but there is always a good section to walk along. There is a great views of the Tusket Islands from the Comeu’s Hill Wharf (non-commercial). On the way to and returning from Comeau's Hill Beach, a nice easy walk to the Roche St. Pierre is worth a visit. The path is groomed, has a nice bridge with great views at the end of the trail.

The 19 acres surrounding the lighthouse is open to the public year-round. The light keeper's house is a Heritage property that is open from May to September and houses the Keeper's Kitchen restaurant and a gift shop. Fun fact: In 2018--"The Lighthouse"-- a film starring William Dafoe and Robert Pattinson was filmed in the park.

Originally the site of an early cemetery and later known as Victoria Park, Frost Park is now an attractive green space in the centre of the town. This well-shaded park features a 150-year-old, three-tier fountain and a compass-rose overlooking Yarmouth. Check out the "echo circle: when standing in the middle of the compass rose. It is speculated that the "Frost Park: that the songwriter of "It is beginning to look like Christmas" was referring to the one in Yarmouth. Also, below the Park along Water Street is a Memorial to the fisherman and others lost at sea.
