Zorbas by the sea is situated along the coastal promenade and offers an array of local and continental dishes at affordable prices. Zorbas is the most well known chain of local bakeries and spans across all of Cyprus. Particularly love their bite size cheese, spinach, and olive pies...yum. They also carry the Coffee Berry brand which makes pretty good coffee.

Kamara Tou Koraka a.k.a. The Lover Bridge is in Cape Greco between the Blue Lagoon and the Agioi Anargyroi Chapel. This natural stone arch stretches across a small closed bay. The bridge cordoned off with a fence because there is a risk of it collapsing.

Traveler advice

Getting around

Numerous modes of transport in Protaras

Although the public transit system is improving in Cyprus, the most convenient method remains the car. Having said that, there are numerous rental companies that offer offroad buggies, scooters and even bicycle rentals. Admittingly, Protaras is also quite pedestrian friendly with extensive pedestrian / bicycle paths that stretch both parallel to the main road as well as the sea coast. The great thing about Cyprus being an island is that distances overall are not extensive. If on foot or a bike, just make sure you avoid long distances in the midday heat.
Don't miss

Sculpture Park Ayia Napa

If you have an artistic side, you may wish to visit the open air sculpture park. It has grown substantially over the year and has attracted international sculptures. There exists an array of styles and themes of sculpture. It's also quite nicely situated on top of a hill overlooking the coast.
Customs and culture

Dress etiquette is expected within Areas of prayer

When entering churches or places of worship, it's customers to wear a discreet garment or long clothing. There is an abundance of churches located in picturesque locations in the area.
Ways to save

Visit the Local Supermarket and Zorbas

If you want to avoid paying additional costs for food or drink, it would be recommended to do your food shopping at Metro which is located in the nearby town of Paralimni. There is also a Zorbas in Paralimni which, if you don't have time to make your own meals, offers a more affordable method of getting good eats at more affordable prices.
