One of our top faves for 15-20 years. 2 blocks walk to downtown. The owners are from Louisiana & the place has a Nola vibe w/some cajun dishes & lots more. The barbecue shrimp (cajun shrimp & grits), cajun spring rolls & gumbo are great apps. Ohh & steamed mussels are outstanding if they have them. Bayou salad, jambalaya & burgers are excellent too. Ohh & the steaks, pastas & seafood dishes are wonderful too. They have outdoor seating, live local music on weekends. It’s divided into a fine dining restaurant & bar/restaurant depending on your desired feel for the evening. Hope you enjoy!!
Ps…my husband designed & renovated the bathrooms & next year we may be redesigning the bar side.

Spencers Coffee is just 2 blocks walk from BNB. Located on the Square. Excellent coffees, pastries, breakfast, sandwiches & sometimes soups. Its a local favorite. They offer music some evenings & various events thruout the seasons.

Best General Tso’s Chicken I’ve had in decades (since I was in NY 30 years ago!!!! Unbelievably flavorful, fresh, filled w/crispy pieces of chicken breast, filled w/veggies, & a sauce that’s complex w/flavors. Robust, smooth, sweet & spicy & rich!! I sub’d plain fried rice for $1 & was good too. Simple, but paired well.
Crispy egg roll was very crispy, flavorful & packed w/deliciousness, along w/a made from scratch sauce. Not just another egg roll filled w/cabbage (refer to closeup pic). The sauce was a lil different, almost a ketchup look, but paired great w/the egg roll & had a kick of wasabi (i think)
The complimentary egg flower soup wasn’t my fave, but good for someone who likes egg soups or goes for a milder flavor. I like complex & spicy and will try the hot & sour or Tom Yum next time.
Their menu also offers a Hibachi & American section. So perfect for all appetites. Check it out. Can’t wait to come back & try more deliciousness.
