These are walking distance places we spend most of our time.
Cafe Codiac is a short and beautiful walk along the lake from our home. It's a popular local spot and the breakfast sandwich is to die for! www.cafecodiac.ca

Just a short walk away. This is a great cafe and meeting spot by day and an amazing hang-out spot by night. Great vibe, local beer and a deep dish garlic finger that will have you going back for more! :) www.tideandboarbrewing.com

Kids can enjoy this playpark for HOURS. This wonderful playpark was recently rebuilt by the community in Rebecca's name. She was an incredible young leader in our community that lost her battle to cancer a few years ago. Her legacy of spreading kindness lives on within this park and the community #beccatoldmeto

Neighbourhoods

From the house, you can see Jones Lake. A man-made lake that ties what locals consider the Old West End (the other side) and the New West End (our side). The walk around the lake is 3 km almost exactly.
