Customs and culture
Incline Village is situated in a mountain forest.
The forest environment is host to a variety of wild animals including bears. It is very important to never leave food or food remains outside (even empty pizza boxes). Always use "bear-safe" containers for trash. Read the "Bear Safe" brochure provided in your unit for more information. If driving in winter, recommend 4-wheel drive and check road conditions via numerous web cams.
