Delicious food, great barbeque, and a formidable salad bar. This is a great place to order a few different meals, and try it all out family-style. Some of the best steak in town, and at a gorgeous location right at the entrance to the national park at the end of the Gatlinburg strip.

If you want to get the waterfall experience with less of the rough and rocky terrain, this is a great kid-friendly alternative. Only 2.6 miles, its shaded by a hemlock canopy which makes this a great choice for the leisurely hiker. Plus, its the only waterfall in the park you can walk behind!

This was originally a Cherokee settlement which later become a European settler area, and then a center for Tennessee’s abolitionist movement. It has both gorgeous natural beauty as well and numerous historical landmarks such as restored churches, grist mills, and pioneer log cabins that line the train. This is a must see for any Gatlinburg visit!
