My favorite beach to take a relaxing walk, chill and view the colourful beach huts, some of which you can hire for a day or evening. I spent an evening at Buttercup beach hut and really loved it.

Head to Southend Pier (a 7-minute walk from the apartment), the longest in the world, a 1.2-mile walk or catch the Pier train. Cakes and refreshments, as well as fish & chips, are served at the end of the Pier.
