If you are looking for a unique vibe with exceptional food, Grey's is the place. Their fried chicken is to die for, but they always have different specials to choose from. This is easily my favorite restaurant in Lynchburg and easily the most popular Sunday brunch spot. Just be mindful of their hours and try to make a reservation when you can.

Bootleggers is another fun downtown spot that has all different types of burgers. My favorite is to choose the bunless option because they put it on a huge salad! It is also right off the bluff walk, so you can get in an evening stroll after dinner!

Waterstone is a great pizza/pasta spot. They boast of making all their ingredients, even their pasta in house. Beautiful atmosphere and an incredibly fun outdoor space when it is warm!

The farm basket is definitely my favorite sandwich place in Lynchburg. My family always wants to go here when they are in town! Not only are the sandwiches to die for, the indoor/outdoor atmosphere makes the visit worth it. They also have a cute shop that you can walk through.

A true Lynchburg dive, ceiling covered with license plates and tables carved with names of all those who dine there. They are known for their burgers, but their Reuben sandwich is my favorite. Their fries and ranch are a must have. Keep in mind they are CASH ONLY.

If you want your standard free chips and salsa type of Mexican restaurant, La Carreta is your pick. There isn't a college student in town that doesn't know of La Carreta. They have about 5 different locations in town, each of them great.
