Lovely chateau to visit in medieval city of Sion.
If you feel like a drive, Crans-Montana can be a nice excursion - for a change of scenery. Lots of high end shops, restaurants and bakeries.

Bisse d’Ayent
Wonderful hike / walk with spectacular view.
This walk/hike is about 20 min from Anzere by car. It's not a difficult walk so easy for all levels including children. The hike is known as the Bisse du Torrent Neuf and it was created at the beginning of the fifteenth century, this bisse has been restored and offers a spectacular walk past sheer rock faces. Highly recommend

One of my favourite hikes near Anzere. This panoramic hike across alpine pastures and through fragrant forests up to the idyllic Lac de Tseuzier. Gentle climb, ideal for families, partly along the Bisse de Sion irrigation channel.
