This is a great spot to start your Golden vacation. They have local volunteers to answer any questions as well as a variety of brochures on local attractions. This recreation center is right up the hill from our unit. Enjoy a full fitness center, two indoor swimming pools (one pool is a children’s heated pool with a waterslide and the other is an adult lap pool), group fitness classes, and a large climbing wall.

There are multiple outdoor activities to enjoy in Clear Creek including walking/biking/running trails, kayaking, and tubing. It gets fairly crowded on the weekends so enjoying it during the week is ideal.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is not only a great place to see a concert but also a geological phenomenon. It’s the only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheater in the world. It’s also a great spot for tours, biking, exercise (run their stairs!), shopping and dining.
