Lake Boomanjin is one of the bigger inland lakes of Fraser Island. It is not too far from Eurong but is not as busy so you can often have the whole lake to yourself. The water is pure and fresh and safe for swimming. Its an amazing sight to see this beautiful red lake, red in colour due to the tannins from tea trees growing in the area.
