Pack for layered dressing
Due to our lovely Mersey, Liverpool can be a windy city. It can also be very warm. So layering is a good idea, and comfy shoes for sightseeing of course.

For teens - the Slavery Museum, The Beatles sites, and The Maritime museum (think Titanic) are great.
