Gravenhurst is 15 minutes away. The fastest way into town is via Doe Lake Road which turns into Bethune Drive across Highway 11, or you can take highway 11 south and take the exit for Bethune Drive / Muskoka Road. Pretty historic downtown Gull Lake park and beach Muskoka Wharf on Lake Muskoka Groceries Terry’s Independent (Loblaws affiliate) Brock Street & 1st Street N Sobey’s Edward Street off Muskoka Road south near the Hwy 11 exit Bakery The Bakery on Brock Street (between Muskoka Road and First Street) has excellent Chelsea buns, bread, pies, cookies, and treats. LCBO by the Sobey’s Craft breweries Sawdust City Restaurants The Oar on Muskoka Road has excellent food Carey’s Irish Pub on Bethune Drive has excellent wings and pub food Frosty Pint Pub on Bethune Drive has excellent wings, fish & chips, and pub food The Rickshaw has good Chinese Food Boston Pizza at Muskoka Wharf on Lake Muskoka west of downtown Harvey’s / Swiss Chalet, Subway, Pizza Pizza are all in town Hiking and outdoor recreation Download the “AllTrails” app for maps and info for nearby trails. - 5-minute walk up the road (left from the driveway) to a conservation area for hiking and snowshoeing.
