Granville Island, is a huge outdoor market with many specialty stores, restaurants, street performers, and a huge produce and meat market. If you are into cooking, it would be fun to go for fresh produce shopping and come back home for cooking. There is a Water Taxi that will take you straight to Granville Island. The ride is about 10 minutes long, quite fun and very scenic and gives you a chance to see the multi million dollar condos of downtown Vancouver up-close. It costs about $10 cash per person for a return trip.
