Sightseeing

There is lots to see and do in Jersey and the beaches are the real highlight however there are also lots of great tourist attractions when the weather is less suited to dipping in the sea or lying in the sun. Please take a look at some of our favourites.
Jersey Zoo is absolutely beautiful and it a 5-10 minute walk from your door. It is wonderful for all ages and offers a good meal / ice-creams / tranquility and fun. It will keep you busy for at least 4 hours. Take a picnic or eat at the restaurant. More importantly it is home of the most revered preservationists of all time Gerald Durrel. It cannot be missed - my grand-children are there every week, they love it!

This is a place that will put chills up your spine. It really is beautifully done and well worth a visit for everyone and anyone with the exception perhaps of small babies. My advice is to take a warm coat as it is always cold inside and visit it on a rainy day or if your children are too hot. Allow at least 2 hours for your visit. It really brings history home and will certainly evoke emotions.

This is a great activity for any time of year whether you are young or old. Views from the top of the castle are stunning and if you like history then you can't go wrong. As for children then there is an opportunity to dress up - explore and enjoy the rustic play area. Certainly worth a visit. Look out for the Dragon!

This is real adventure - One way or another you will have to go on a Duck or Amphibious Vehicle. It a stunning Castle surrounded by sea at high tide and there is long causeway at low tide. Steeped with history and places to explore and hide.
