DAY TRIPS OR LONGER

Places that will take up to a day or an overnight to get best from. Some you may start thinking it will only be for a short while but when you get there you want more so l recommend thinking along the lines of a day. If you don't like you can always come back early.
As a port it is a working city not a 'pretty' city but in a viable trip from Nice with an overnight it has interest, novelty and once you get over the rough edges great food on offer!

Traveler advice

What to pack

Remember to bring your flipflops or rubber shoes .

If you want to go into the sea remember that Nice has a pebble beach and the stones can get hot in the height of summer therefore some kind of foot protection will stop you from dancing around on hot coals.
