When the sun is setting this is the place to be. Closest pub to the house with the bonus of the most spectacular view on the beach front. A climbing frame for the young ones to play on as well which gives the grown ups a well earned rest 🍻🥂

Food scene

Being high up Norbar gives Excellent views for miles looking out onto the Sea. The food and drink is excellent here for all the family. Would recommend ringing ahead and booking a table.

Absolutely outstanding food and service. The prices are very high for Barmouth and would be on par with Capital Cities but you will not be disappointed here. Amazing evening out but book again as only small

We have only recently stumbled across this place as has a new child’s play area but what a find. A lovely stream to relax next to whilst the children are occupied on the brand new outdoor play area. Food was top notch, about a 10 min drive from @no40 but if you tie in with Norbar these two places are great.

Things to do

You just can’t beat it any time of the year, we tend to stay at the beach at the end of the road to the right of the house. It’s much quieter than near the town and you have your own little blocked off section most days. Our Happy Place 🥰 Also when the tide is in and it’s a windy day you can’t beat dodging the waves along the prom after they crash against the walls. The kids love this one
