Whether it's around the corner, up the freeway, or a leisurely ferry ride away, the fantastic food and great atmosphere at the Empire Bay Tavern is worth the trip. Guests travel from all over the Central Coast, as well as from Sydney and Newcastle to experience all the Tavern has to offer. Empire Bay Tavern is located in the at the Southern end of the Central Coast in Empire Bay. Close neighbours include Killcare, Ettalong, Kincumber, Daleys Point, St Huberts Island, Hardys Bay and Bensville. The Tavern, or 'the tav' as it is affectionately called by locals, is owned and managed by the Mathers family who believe in creating a friendly family atmosphere for locals and guests. The Tavern is the perfect place on the coast with something for everyone. You can catch up with friends and family over a meal in the very popular award winning bistro whilst the kids can enjoy the playground and open grassed area. The bar is popular with a fine selection of icy cold beers and wines from Australia and New Zealand, full TAB facilities and KENO. There is also entertainment most weekends, including karaoke first Friday of the month, retro dance night last Friday of the month and bands as well as Trivia on a Thursday night.

Unlike the chain stores, our fresh produce is not stored; it is purchased daily. With prices lower than the big supermarkets, why not give us a try?
