In winter Nov - Mar, bring a jacket for the evenings when the sun goes down and the wind picks up. This will allow you to enjoy outdoor seating at restaurants. Bring good walking shoes and always watch where you step. If you plan to go snorkeling or sport fishing, you can pack your own gear or rent from a tour company or panga captain. Drinking and Cooking Water
Water is scarce in the Baja desert. The Casita is serviced by city water. It can be used to brush teeth. Wash foods using Microdyne from the grocery store, or make a wash with white vinegar or baking soda, lemon juice, and water. Add grapefruit seed extract if you have it. Bottled drinking water is provided for you in the kitchen dispenser. When you need more, please contact the property manager for refills. The city shuts off the water completely when dangerously low, or for a few hours if they are flushing pipes or doing repairs. The 100 gallon cistern should be sufficient. Be conservative.
