It's right downstairs! They have delicious brunch and good dinner (gyros, especially), as well as a decent beer menu. It doesn't get more convenient than this. They also do carry-out.

This is the best greasy spoon breakfast in Columbus. It's fast, cheap, delicious, and right downstairs from my apartment. It's a small place so there can sometimes be a wait - however, it's never been more than 15 minutes. Note: They open at 6:30am and close at 2:30pm.

This is an iconic Jewish deli that has been around for a long time. The sheer amount of sandwiches and other treats they have is dizzying. There's some outdoor seating, and you must try the cherry kugel!

Local Cantina is a nice, laid back spot with decent tacos, an awesome beer list, and serve-yourself chips & salsa. Sometimes people watch sports there, if you're into that kind of thing.

I love this place. Their coffee is delicious, and the baristas are always really nice. There's just a great, laid back vibe. See also: lots of tables and a bright, airy space.

Pretty good coffee, artsy vibe. The music is always great. It can get a little loud in there due to the acoustics and lots of regulars, but other times it's nice and quiet. Plus: cheap made to order sandwiches!

Hello, boozy brunch. $5 mimosas and bloodies, and delicious food to boot. I've only been here for brunch, but I'm sure dinner would also be lovely.

Stauf's has an outdoor patio and decent coffee. It's consistently too loud in there for me to concentrate, but since it's so close to other great spots, it's convenient.

One block away from the apartment, and absolutely lovely. There's a playground, trails, a pond, lots of ducks and geese, and big old trees. Not to be missed on a nice day. In the summer, they do free plays at night: http://www.theactorstheatre.org/2016_season.html
