#LECCE: QUICK TIPS TO ENJOY YOUR STAY

Worth a visit

The beating heart of Lecce. This square is the scene of events dedicated to food, wine, music and entertainment, not just in summer. Right in the middle stands the column with the statue of the patron saint that gives its name to this space. Just behind you will see the amazing roman amphitheatre.

There are plenty of seats where you can relax among trees, flowers and bushes. In the centre is a beautiful domed pavilion, while the rest of the park has numerous decorative and architectural elements such as fountains and ponds. The Villa Comunale is less than a five minute walk from St. Oronzo Square.
