Sightseeing

The caves at De Kelders ("the Cellars") is the reason for the area's name. The walk is not very long with a some clambering (and climbing) and wooden stairs. Breathtaking views and beautiful photo opportunities. The best is to aim for low tide!

Traveler advice

Getting around

A car is necessary

De Kelders and surrounding areas do not have available or accessible safe public transport, so a car is a necessity to get around. There are many hiking routes and walking trails, but restaurants and many tourist attractions (such as wine farms and certain look-out points) are only accessible by car.
