Traveler advice

Don't miss

Appreciate all that the Wasatch valley has to offer.

There is a lot more than just skiing or boarding that the valley has to explore. There’s hiking, spelunking, and sledding to name just a few. Plus great history and sites to see. Falcon Park and Flat Iron Park are great parks to go sledding. A little further away is Tibble Fork Reservoir, a great sledding destination. There is spelunking in Diamond Fork Canyon in Spanish Fork. There are great hikes in Millcreek, Bells Canyon, and American Fork Canyon. Lots of signs and trails once you arrive to guide you on your way.
Getting around

Always take the I215 if possible. I15 can get congested.

If you're heading up Little Cottonwood Canyon to Snowbird traffic shouldn't be bad. However, if going up Big Cottonwood Canyon if can get pretty congested. You'll want to head up no later than 7:30am preferably 7:00am to be the first ones on the slopes and head home around 3:15 before the rush at 4:00pm.
