Our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood! Great wood-fired pizza and really tasty seafood dishes. This is where we bring out-of-town guests who visit.

The best deep-dish pizza we've found on the West Coast! We often grab it for take-out, but the restaurant also has great live music most evenings starting at 8pm. And karaoke on Mondays!

Because you can never have too much coffee! The entire south wall of the cafe is a map of the Beacon Hill neighborhood, which is pretty neat. A good, quiet spot for conversations or relaxing.

For the beer! For the burgers! For the fried Brussels sprouts with balsamic glaze! We love the community table here, and we always keep a growler on hand for when we need a refill.

We walk through this park every chance we get. It's easily accessible from the house, and has great views of the mountains and downtown. Awesome for picnics, too, with lots of green space and shelters throughout. There's also a skate park, a playground enjoyed year-round, and a splash park in the summer.

Arguably the best spot to walk in Seattle's south end. The peninsula juts out into Lake Washington, providing beach access, water views, old-growth forest, nesting eagles, and views of Mt. Rainier.
