Getting around
The Parkway is great but can have traffic!
The Dolly Parton Parkway is great, but make sure you have time to drive all the way down the Parkway. You can use by-pass roads such as Veterans and Teaster Lane. Also, if you want to see the Parkway, early in the morning you can generally move around quickly. Late afternoon and evening it will be packed, so be prepared!
Ways to save
Online coupons before big ticket events
Check your smart phone for online coupons for places such as Dollywood, Wonder Works Emporium, etc.
Book before you go
Dolly's Stampede and Pirates Voyage.
Reserve your seats online or call ahead otherwise when you get there these will most likely be sold out, but they are both worth it!
Getting around
Traffic
Search for alternative routes off from the Parkway if you are trying to save time. If you want to see some really awesome attractions, plan some time to drive all the way up and down the Dolly Parton Parkway!
