A handy place in the AC to relax with a book or use a computer. There are some activities and toys for kids in the Children’s area also. Check the calendar - the library hosts music events on some Thursdays and has other programming such as free movies as well.

One of the best-kept secrets of Bryson City, this park is accessed via a walking bridge. It’s a flat place to jog or walk and is great for picnics too. Small children might enjoy wading around on the sandy beaches of the riverbank. There is a shirt, old wall bordering the island on the far side; if traveling with small children, caution them against walking on it.

This is a unique and historic place. It’s a scenic drive to the tunnel. Park and take a short walk and you will feel the cool air from the tunnel. Walk through the tunnel and enjoy the echoes and reverbs. There is also a 3 mile hiking trail at the other end of the tunnel.
