Great for activities; Park Run on a Saturday or Boot Camp! You can hire Paddleboards and Kayaks during summer months. Great for a walk with the family along the shore of Lake Windermere and a play in the toddlers play area. Parking fees apply unless you're a National Trust member.

Great walk from Fernleigh up to Hampsfell Hospice! A bit tough at times but worth it for the view! You can continue down to Cartmel and reward yourself with a pint :)
