Healthy fare for breakfast and lunch, with vegan options. The mediterranean bowl, with grilled chicken, swiss chard, broccoli, spinach, chickpeas, feta cheese and kalamata olives on a bed of wild rice and quinoa is a must! Oh, and don't forget that Lemon-Chia water....tart and sweet:)

Tacos, Tacos and more Tacos!

Tacos are plentiful in PV, and we've tried almost every taco restaurant and stand in the neighborhood. We've listed both our favorite taco restaurants and taco stands. #tacolife
A very popular and small street-side restaurant, within walking distance. Usually has a line, but worth the wait! Al Pastor (pork), Chicken and Asada are the best, but sometimes the Asada takes some time to come out. The hot sauces here are amazing, and the mango habanero salsa is like fruity fire!

Also known as "Pink Pepes", this place has awesome meats, Maggi-fried onions and cheese tostadas (be sure to ask for them since they seem to be compliments of the chef), and the wait is always minimal. Hands down, you must try the Al Pastor and the Tromba (a delicious mixture of steak and chorizo that is a-mazing). Best to hop in an Uber (about $45-65 pesos) or a taxi. 10-15 minutes out, but you can take a long nice walk back along the malecon to work off the calories if you decide.

This taco stand is one of our faves!! If you translate the name, don't let it fool you! The meats are all delicious, but the Al Pastor (pork) is amazing, and they put cooked pinto beans in their Asada tacos. YUM! Right next to the Farmacia Guadalajara, where you can pick up necessities like food, personal care items, medicine and snacks for the short walk back home:)

Coffee Shop!

Many coffee shops are in the immediate area. As mentioned before, we ❤️ Dee’s! Starbucks is located on restaurant row, just a few blocks away☕️
Hands down the best coffee shop in the Zona Romantica! Just one block from Casa Disfruto, Dee's bakes all of her goodies fresh!, and the open kitchen is where you'll find Dee mixing up her delicious treats! THE BLUEBERRY COFFEECAKE is our fave! Grab a table outside to enjoy the breeze and the view of the pier. You will not be disappointed:)
