A drive across the Lynn Cove Viaduct will give you some of the best views of the High Country. Stop into their tiny museum and gift shop to learn about the eco friendly way the Viaduct was constructed. Or go for a hike, the trail head can be found across the parking lot from the Museum.

Grandfather Mountain has a little bit of everything. A small zoo of local wildlife, beautiful view, hiking trails and more. Don't miss the Mile High Swinging bridge, and if you have little ones make sure to say hi to the bears and the otters. It's pretty windy on top of the mountain, so you might need a jacket, even on warm summer days.
