Food Scene
This is one of our most favorite restaurants here. Sur is on the pleasant Plaza Ortiz just off the main road within a stone throw of the beach with friendly, attentive and helpful staff. It has about 20 seats outside and about 50 in the cozy dining room, full of farm implements and old cooking utensils hanging from both ceiling and walls. We love Sur because of the impeccable their good wine list and the unbeatable steaks. But all the items on the menu are good quality food.

This chiringuito is perfect for lunch, dinner or just some drinks with the stunning view over the beach, the rock of Gibraltar and on very clear days even Africa. If you like to eat with your feet in the sand then this chiringuito is perfect. Very friendly staff and nice food in a relaxed environment. My personal favorite is the virgin Moijto and the 'World of prawns' but all the dishes are a good quality and depending on how hungry you are, you always find a dish that just hits the spot.

This restaurant is the closest to the apartment and is one of the best pizza places in Estepona. The food is very Italian, full of flavour and the service excellent.

In case you take a day trip to Málaga and need a little pick-me-up the guys from El Último Mono have you covered. Coffee specialities, shakes and juices will be prepared for you by an amazingly friendly staff and try the brownie. It's one of the best ones around.

I personally do not like bullfighting, but there are 3 museums in the Bullring (Bullfighting, Tool Museum and Palaeontology/ Fossil Museum) - www.estepona.es
It is opposite the entrance to the port (access via Calle Matias Prats). The museums share the same entrance. There are no admission charges. Hours of opening are Monday to Saturday 09.00 to 16.00 hrs. Tel: 952 807 148
