Not exactly brunch but a light breakfast; Kettleman’s is Ottawa’s best bagel. A short walk to the Glebe will get you oven fresh bagels in more than a dozen flavours with your preference of topping (cream cheese, butter, salmon, etc.).

Located in Vanier, this place has the best poutine in town! Classic, Greek or Mexican with various meats - you have a lot of poutine's options! Yes, it is not downtown, but if you have time to go, it's really worth it.

The restaurant is pretty small and you may have to reserve, or you can pick them up and walk back (5 minutes) to the apartment.
