La Flambe is just 10 minutes from our house and offers very good food, in a relaxed gastro pub setting. The portions are large so if that's your thing, you won't be disappointed!

If you haven't been before, it's a quintessentially British village. It has been featured in many historical dramas and films and it is home to the Manor Hotel (with Michelin starred restaurant) and several other great pubs.
There is a lovely circular walk (5 miles approx) from the centre of the village.
