If you're looking for nature, water, birds and Louisiana SWAMP then Lake Martin is the place to visit. Go in the late evening because watching the sun set at Lake Martin is a MUST! The Bayou Teche Experience is a great way to see the swamp in a kayak or take a Swamp Tour. My husband and I have seen alligators every time we visit this Lake. Fun fact: The movie Scooby Doo on Zombie Island is based on the part of Louisiana near Lake Martin. The swamp isn't creepy though, it is peaceful and fun!

If you feel like taking a short drive to Sunset for some delicious food, I definitely recommend Cafe' Josephine!! It's become our new favorite place to eat, but we are not alone so call ahead to make your reservation!

You may feel like you're lost because of all the winding roads but I promise this place will not disappoint. For a unique experience in Louisiana cuisine, take a drive out to Arnaudville and experience all that Little Big Cup has to offer!
