Antica chiesa di Torno con bellissimi affreschi e la venerata statua della Madonna del Pozzo. Chiesa dedicata a San Giovanni Battista dell'XI secolo, ha un unica navata e il soffitto a botte. Al suo interno, secondo la tradizione, custodisce uno dei chiodi della crocifissione di Gesù.
Accanto alla chiesa c'è il cimitero, parchetto delle rimembranze con ampia vista sul lago.

From Como : Bus C31 (dir Palanzo) Bus C30 (dir Bellagio)
From Como C31 is better because there are less tourists.
If there is a queue at the ticket office, you can buy tickets from the automatic machine. You can pay in cash or by credit card. You must select Rete Extraurbana and then select from Como to Torno.
The last bus C30 leaving from Piazza Matteotti is at h.9.55 pm.The bus takes about 15 minutes to reach Torno. You will have to GET OFF FROM THE BUS AT Torno - PIAZZA CARONTI STOP.

For those arriving by car, once you have found a parking space, we recommend moving around by boat. The roads around the lake are narrow and parking spaces, especially in summer, are difficult to find.

REACHING THE APARTMENT FROM PIAZZA CARONTI
Looking towards the Bar Pianta (with your back to the road) you can see the Bank (Intesa San Paolo) and on the right starts via Tridi which rises upwards. Going along Via Tridi for 30/40 meters you will pass under a stone arch. The house you will see in front of you at that point is April Home. To reach the entrance of the apartment you have to turn right and immediately left to go to the back of the house. You will then see a railing with flowers and a brown door with the lock box. There you’ve arrived.
