Everything is vegetarian or vegan BUT meat-eating folks love this place as well. I have yet to find a better vegetarian spot in the city for an affordable quick bite. Great sandwiches, great dessert--all homemade.

Our good friends opened this place up a little over a year ago and they really did a lot of research on Russian cuisine. They brew all of their own beer and all food is handmade. Try the perogies!

Kayaks, paddleboats, ice skating in the winter, roller skating in the summer, hammocks (these are a mystery to me...how do they stay clean?), boardwalk with games, floating barge with restaurant and beer, beautiful lights at night. Again, another must-do :)

There is a very long path that is good for biking, walking, jogging, pushing a stroller that runs along the river. There are benches along the river where you can sit and read, munch or just watch the sun go down. Nice place to walk your dog or cat if your cat is into that type of thing.
