££-£££ At the far end of town but totally worth it! Enjoy the river outside or... underneath the restaurant. Their brunch menu is my favourite. A little pricey but for a reason. You can save on parking if you don't mind a short walk from Lammas Land.

££££ OK, this one is special. It is run by a couple who are just very good at what they do. He is the chef and she runs the place. They hosted our wedding reception so I am a little biased I must admit. They have since moved to bigger and grander premises which we haven't visited yet. Not children-friendly. Funny opening hours. Airbnb displays the old address.

Arts & Culture

A museum not many guidebooks on Cambridge would care to mention. It is in fact as entertaining inside as it is unsightly from the outside! You'll find yourself glued to the giant tetris or looking for a computer made in the same year you were born. Lifehack: take a snack with you as the cafe there is very basic.
