5 star restaurant located at the top of Alyeska Ski Resort. Take the tram up to the top for an amazing dinner or just for a drink to check out the surrounding area. If you make a reservation you should be able to take the tram for free. Order the Fizz (apres ski drink that is only available during the ski season and is not on the menu).

An access trail to the Iditarod, this Forest Service trail leads to the Winner Creek Gorge. The first 0.7 mile, starting from behind the tram building at Hotel Alyeska, is a highly developed boardwalk. Another one of my favorite longer hikes is to take Upper Winner Creek Trail to Berry Pass. One of the most beautiful passes in Alaska in my opinion.
