A must for the doggos!!! Stay to the right as you walk toward the levy to find the loop trail that will take you to the rivers edge. From there follow the river to the beach and enjoy the stunning views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Thanks to the Elwha dam removal upstream, this beach changes constantly as sediment from the mountains reforms the sand-spit protecting the river mouth. Something new every visit!
