Perched on the tip of a peninsula, Wellington Point has a bustling, friendly atmosphere where the water and seaside are enjoyed to the fullest by locals and the many people who visit this village on weekends. With plenty of grassy spots and tables, it's the perfect spot to enjoy a picnic and bask in the sunshine.
Bordered by water on both sides, Wellington Point is, not surprisingly, known as a great spot for fishing, boating and various water sports. Adventurous water pursuits such as jetskiing, windsurfing and, more recently, the spectacular sport of kitesurfing, have become common sights at Wellington Point. Its long jetty is the ideal spot to cast your fishing line and exchange stories

Cleveland Point Park is a picturesque family park with 270° ocean views. It's located at the end of Shore Street North in Cleveland on the South-East side of Brisbane, and is definitely worth checking out. The road that takes you to Cleveland Point loops around the whole park so you don't even have to stop the car to enjoy the views. Although I highly recommend that you do. Recently upgraded, this park has lots to offer.
There are well positioned BBQs and picnic tables.

238-242 Shore Street WestCleveland Point Park is a picturesque family park with 270° ocean views. It's located at the end of Shore Street North in Cleveland on the South-East side of Brisbane, and is definitely worth checking out. The road that takes you to Cleveland Point loops around the whole park so you don't even have to stop the car to enjoy the views. Although I highly recommend that you do. An ideal holiday destination for families, groups of friends and day trippers, the island is famous for its scenic headlands, freshwater lakes, rolling surf and endless white sandy beaches. Three little townships on the island provide a relaxed village atmosphere – with Point Lookout being the best land-based whale-watching site in the world.
