Food Scene

This eclectic coffee shop is a staple of student life & was a favorite when we were in school. Delicious treats and a variety of espresso drinks make it a one-stop-shop for a pick-me up. Our favorite is the Al Pacino.

It’s a bit removed from the main campus area, but well worth the drive to this restored 1940’s diner. Featured on Food Network, arrive when they open for breakfast, or plan to wait. Everything is fantastic, but we recommend the Green Chili Breakfast Pizza or the classic southern Biscuits-n-Gravy.

Don’t let the ramshackle exterior keep you from checking out this local hamburger joint. All the fun of it’s more famous sister, The Dixie Chicken, but with a more family friendly atmosphere. We recommend the Tijuana Fries with your order.

For chicken wings or boneless tenders, this nearby restaurant won’t disappoint. Crispy curly fries are a great compliment to their entrees and even make for an interesting ingredient in the Pulled Pork Nacho Fries. Get some to share before the main course arrives.

Shopping

This is a huge warehouse (as the name suggests) of any Aggie gear you could want. While their main focus is on shirts, you can also find stuff for the home, kitchen, gifts, etc. We have found this to be one of the most economical places to stock up on your maroon and white.
