A traditional pub with a good drink menu as well as food. An idyllic, simplistic sitting area outside, especially on a sunny day! Great for lunch in the sun, or a couple of beers on the evening, on your way home from the city centre.

Great food and cozy, rustic atmosphere! Tips: Best lamb shank in town.

Sightseeing

Maybe the most visited mountaintop in Bergen. Great view over the city, souvenir shop and restaurant on top. You can walk from the city or the apartment that lies directly underneath, or if you don´t feel like walking you can take the "Fløybanen". http://floyen.no/en/ Once you get up it´s usually pretty crowded, but there are plenty of more quiet places to go further into the mountain. For instance another mountain, "Rundemannen", or you can take a day trip (approximately 5 hour hike) from Fløyen to Ulriken, the highest mountain surrounding Bergen. A beautiful trip i´d absolutely recommend if you have the time, weather, good shoes (and water!) and interest in a nature experience.
