This Power Plant Lake remains warm all year and produces some of the best bass fishing in Texas. There is a grocery/bait shop 2 doors down from the house where you could find info on a great local guide. One we have heard of is Pete's Guide Service Phone number (985) 789-2277

During Antique week, there is a Nice little outdoor antique fair on the square, usually open into the late evening. One can often find unique pieces and really good deals within 250 feet of two different local restaurants and a Wine bar. And best of all no crowd.
