This beach is located in a small beachfront community in Rio Grande. You'll have to find parking along the road and look for public access areas between homes in the area. It's more popular with locals and less well known but there are some amazing views!

Playa Escondida or 'Hidden Beach' is a great place to go if you want privacy and nature. You will park at 7 Seas Beach and hike through nature to arrive at this private beach. Bring beach shoes as sometimes the hike can be muddy but its worth the walk!

You will have to book a tour boat to get to Icacos, a small island off the coast of Fajardo. I recommend a company called Travelers but there are many other Catamaran tours that go to Icacos. In addition to spending time on this beach, you can snorkel the reef located nearby.

Piñones is lined with miles of beaches. Some of the areas are busy with parking, and some areas you can access by pulling off the road and parking on the paths winding through the trees right next to the beach. You can definitely find a place to match your vibe. The beaches here run from just east of San Juan all the way through Loiza approaching Rio Grande.
