If you are a coffee fiend then you need to dash to this branch of Small Batch Coffee. It is in a beautiful, grey building facing my flat. The coffee is divine and on a sunny day you can sit outside and watch 7 dials in action.

Legendary Brighton Burger joint- It's fast food but they have an amazing menu of classic and exotic burgers. All choices come with either a beef or vegetarian patty. Particularly good for a quick bite before or after a night out. There are a few branches of Grubbs dotted about the city so if you're feeling peckish, there is likely to be one near you wherever you are.

Drinks & Nightlife

it is delightful and cosy. A great pub to spend a rainy day playing scrabble or a rauceous night with friends. In the summer it is a lovely spot to sit outside and relax with friends. It is a specialised whisky bar so if you are a big whisky fan like myself, it is a lot of fun ordering their whisky tasting trays with your friends. Highly recommended.

This is an independent vegetarian bar which faces The Great Eastern pub on Trafalgar Street. Their menu is great and my non vegetarian siblings insist on going here for dinner when they visit. There's great comfort food on the menu from curries to burritos. There's also a lovely little sunny garden out the back. There's also a fun quiz on there on Sunday nights if you choose to polish off your Brighton weekend with some intellectual output.
