The best and most famous beach that everyone adores.
Great for kids (shallow and warm), but also gets deep for swimmers, has a beautiful clear turquoise water and a very good infrastructure (corn and Starbucks included). I personally love snorkeling there.
You can rent a sun-bed or bring your own chairs and find a spot in the bushes.
It’s free for walk-ins, but if you travel by car, you’ll need to pay an entrance fee (~50₺/car in 2022).
Can be too crowded in high season, but is still very enjoyable.

Blue Lagoon

We go there all the time, because it’s never overcrowded, even in summer, water is always beau👏🏼ti👏🏼ful👏🏼, clear and warm, and there is a lot of space free from sun-beds, since we like to bring our own chairs and watch the sea. Oh, and also it’s free.
Local tip: try to get to the farthest corner of it. This way you’ll get to enjoy the most tranquil part 🙏🏻

Oludeniz Beach
Our favorite beach!
We go there all the time, because it’s never overcrowded, even in summer, water is always beau👏🏼ti👏🏼ful👏🏼, clear and warm, and there is a lot of space free from sun-beds, since we like to bring our own chairs and watch the sea. Oh, and also it’s free.
Local tip: try to get to the farthest corner of it. This way you’ll get to enjoy the most tranquil part 🙏🏻
A very beautiful stony beach with clear cool water. Popular but not too crowded. If you prefer colder water, this is your beach. If you tend to get chilly, go back to Oludeniz beach and Blue Lagoon ☺️

The most central public beach in Fethiye. Not too loved by locals, tends to get muddy and windy. If you’re staying in Ölüdeniz area, it’s not worth visiting. But if you’re staying in Çalış area, it’s still a great place to enjoy the sea :) Just make sure to visit Ölüdeniz at some point 🙌🏼

Çalış Beach
The most central public beach in Fethiye. Not too loved by locals, tends to get muddy and windy. If you’re staying in Ölüdeniz area, it’s not worth visiting. But if you’re staying in Çalış area, it’s still a great place to enjoy the sea :) Just make sure to visit Ölüdeniz at some point 🙌🏼
This is the beach to go especially if you’re staying in the center of Fethiye. You can get a minibus to either Ölüdeniz or Adalar (peninsula with a few different bays and beach clubs). The best public beach in Adalar is Boncuklu, but you could explore others as well :)
