Commonly known as "Pirates" is just a 10 minute beach walk away. Little colorful kiosks for refreshments, a fish shop with freshest fish caught by the local fishermen, local restaurant with typical coastal food, outdoor food stalls sampling Swahili snacks like deep-fried cassava, viazi karai (deep-fried potato pieces dipped in dough, accompanied by home made chili and tamarind sauce) and other coastal delicacies. Little roadside shops offer a variety of items. Sunday the locals from the surrounding villages storm the beach, enjoying themselves. Come and see
