A great little gourmet shop for all the things - dont think of it as just a grocer! We walk for lunch there often (to go)…real butcher shop makes sandwiches daily that are big enough to split (especially if you get the ciabatta roll); the fresh breads are great - our fave is the kalamata bread; they make a hummus that makes me rethink all hummus; and there are daily brownies and cookies near the counter…mmm; also an easy spot for booze, wine, beer, and even pre-made drinkies.

Sightseeing
a great little cemetery of older Sacramento history on a small scale. There is the larger city Cemetery at Riverside and Broadway for a longer hike thru historic markers.

Our closest local brewery and I would also say one of Sacramento’s best beer producers. Sundays they offer $5 flights to choose 4 different 8 oz beers for $5!

City/town information
This museum is really great! It has wonderful historic information about the building of the railway system across the states but they also have several artifacts, old dining cars, the old postal train car which is really interesting to me (maybe I am a nerd)...
