The Adelong Falls Gold Mill Ruins is a state listed heritage industrial site. Situated 1.5 kilometres from Adelong, and just over 20 kilometres from Tumut, it is a must see destination. The Adelong Falls is a popular swimming hole during the warmer months and a great spot for walking and picnics. The "Adelong Falls Walk" links the Adelong Falls Gold Mill Ruins to the town of Adelong; a walk of about 2km along Adelong Creek.

Batlow is undeniably best known, and deservedly so, for its apples. The biggest apple of them all is not edible, it is one of Australia’s ‘big things’. The Big Apple sits in an orchard out of town, paying tribute to the fruit growers who have kept the economy going for well over a century.

The Yarrangobilly area is a highlight of northern Kosciuszko National Park. Explore jaw-dropping caves on a guided tour and swim in the thermal pool. Discover some of the most beautiful limestone caves in Australia, with 6 show caves open to the public. Above ground, a swim in the outdoor thermal pool is a magical experience. The pool's fed by a natural spring with water staying 27ºC year-round. Keep an eye out for superb blue wrens as you swim. Then follow the Yarrangobilly River walk back to Glory Arch walk and carpark, or South Glory Cave. At dawn and dusk you might see a platypus in the river.

Great place to have a picnic and swim with your dog. Located at the junction of the Goobagandra and Tumut river. The Goobagandra is slow and the water much warmer than the Tumut River. Beautiful old River Red Gums provide shade.
